Sprint Booster?

Anyone tried this? Found this:
Sprint Booster SBCH0012S Sprint Booster Drive-by-Wire Throttle Delay Eliminator - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS

For 2008-10 Cobalt automatic, turbo only. Um Last I checked SS's come in manual unless they count the 2.4 n/a Sport. They have another part for the HHR 2.2 (same as Colorado/Canyon) though I dought they share the same connector as a Cobalt 2.2/2.4

isn't this what some of the people do when they ground there TB's? I wouldn't waste my money, get the car properly tuned and it'll make the throttle feel a bit snappier if that's what ur after.

It's like those chips like these. Um how about just pressing on the pedal that much further.

What was so wrong with a cable operated TB anyways? Did we really need this drive by wire business?

If they want traction control, launch control, no lift shifting and other goodies such as adjustable pedal response (think sport mode) then yes. I believe traction control is mandatory now.
