Any particular reason why you'd want to do that?

LAP and LE5 are interchangeable with no modifications needed other than a tune. However, it's not worth the trouble to be honest.

Most people would agree. We don't drive Hondas; there are no B18s, or H22s, or K20s for us. Usually, for those who want power, we'd simply go forced induction.

Actually I'm considering swaping in an 06 LE5 for my LAP, which is absolutely worth it. They can hold a lot more power, rather than being limited to about 250 WHP I can safely run in the 300's.

Most ecotec engines don't swap because sensors injectors and computers ate different.

There's an old post on a guy who did the swap in 5 hours, he had a hoist and was a gm tech. That also was a late model l61 he added the vvt plugs too then just flashed a tune.

I saw that too and he had to add to the harness and it wasn't anything close to 5 hours.

Video time might have been five hours, but I'd bet it's closer to ten~.

I've swapped a 3800 in under eight hours.

But we left off the exhaust, intake, and hood.

It's doable, but five hours? Eh.
