Should I Get an Intake for $100?

Found a 2.2 used Injen CAI for $100.

I have a stock 2.2 5 speed LS. Is it a good deal? Since my car is stock is this is a stupid idea, or what should be on my list next if I get the intake?

its an easy mod to start off with and thats a good price, i would follow an intake with an exhaust system.

For that price, I'd snatch it up in a second. Paid $220 for my Injen new. Love the sound it makes when you get on it.

Maybe your car is trying to adjust it's fuel tables to compensate for the wider intake piping. My Injen CAI used to throw out P0171 codes quite often. Changing the downstream OČ sensor reduced it's frequency 10 fold.

Clean the MAF.

Double check the clamps as well.

Use a socket to run them down (probably an 8mm~), instead of a screwdriver.
