cooling mods for 2.4??

i have the 2.4 cobalt. i also live in tucson AZ where its starting to get hot (over 100 everyday) ive been noticing my coolant temp being around 190+. idk what the norm is but my friends mustangs temp is around 150?! wtf? is there any way to keep my car cooler in this damn heat?

190-200 is perfect!!!! If your friend's Mustang is 150 then either his gauge is bad, his sending unit is bad, his thermostat is bad, or he put in a really low thermostat....or no thermostat at all...LOL!

^^ he's right The cobalt doesn't even kick on the cooling fan till 225 or so.
