where is the chip and how do you take it out on the 07 ls? it would be sweet to rev it up past 4000 rpm sometimes

No "chip" that you can remove.

it is programmed into the ecu or pcm... cant remember which our car has but same thing... the only way around it is to have a custom tune done... but reving it past what it is set at is kinda pointless unless you have alot of internal work to handle the stress if you are going to be doing it often... and if you dont have any mods to make your car louder it is only going to sound like a mini van reving ne way... plus if your not at the track everyday and this is a track car and not a daily driver it is pointless... dont mean to rain on your parade... but if you still wanna do it then you need a custom tune and it is quite spendy...

you have an automatic.....don't remove it.
if you do you'll be replacing a torque converter
soon.......if you keep reving past 4000
