How to: Fix Curb Rash

i was lookin up how to get rid of curb rash, and i came across these articles on a rx8 forum. hahaha. but they seem very legit. im going to try it in spring.
if anyone else has any other experience/input about this please tell! thanks.

I painted my wheels so if they ever get damaged i can just sand em down and do it again. so many benefits to painted wheels.

Think if you wanted to paint your rims but then you notice you have curb rash. Would be easy to just putty and prime and then paint the whole rim! I plan on doing this in the summer.
