Help, cobalt won’t start after changing steering wheel

Hi , I recently have had issues with my cobalts ignition failing and sometimes I would go somewhere and when it was time to go back home my car would start but stahl out then not start back up for almost 30-45 min sometimes. I replaced my whole steering column with an 06 model and have a new ignition and keys with that column . I am trying the 30 min 10 min programming now to see if that will work. Any answers or suggestions will help gratefully. Thanks

Seems your on the right track programming the keys to the BCM.
Donít know why you would change out the steering column though.
