2006 2.4l Installing OE Throttle Body

I am installing a new OE throttle body and it is acting like a vacuum leak 3,000 rpm idle, however no leaks. reinstalled old TB and idles normal.
to start with i had a P0121 loss of power. intermittent code. checked all wiring and no chaffing so i replace pedal switch and TB. now i cant get the TB to idle. the dealer has not mentioned any pigtail upgrades and the plug fits correctly.
any suggestions?

It has a 3000 rpm idle with new TB? Bummer!
Seems your ECU needs to relearn / recalibrate to the new TB.
There is proceedure for that using a good GM programmer.

You may also have a leak between throttle body and intake. This will also make RPMs high. Make sure gasket isn't cracked.
