Shorty antennas

Im thinkinh about replacing my antenna with a shorty antenna. Have any of you had poor reception from doing so?

Yea the reception does change a bit. I don't use the radio anyways, ipod ftw.

I got the MPX shorty antenna but haven't been able to notice a difference, I've never used the radio in my car XD

I always use my radio I feel like I got better reception from it in my car when I go in tunnels and such..

Idk lol before when I go through tunnels like harbor tunnel with stock antenna it would cut out but with this one it stays on now

I just cut the stock one way short and I still get good reception out here in the desert

In my experience, AM reception is greatly reduced. I have no noticeable difference in FM reception.
