Front bumper replacement

Hey, was wondering if a there is a difference (other than the grille) between a Colbalt and G5 front cover. I have an 06 LT that needs the cover replaced. Having a difficult time finding a used cover off a Colbalt, was hoping a G5 would work as well. As far as I know the hood, fenders and headlights are the same. Thanks in advance!

The G5 bumper cover will be missing the bar for the bowtie emblem. Only the other way around works and you cut the bar. Unless you install the Pontiac grill and emblem but that would look odd.

I have replaced the bumper once before and had to cut that bar out for my grille, mine is chrome on the 06 LT. I also have an 08 LT that has just the painted bar with the bow tie. So if the bar is the only difference, might the G5 work?

If you have the chrome grille then the g5 bumper will work no problem
