Right now the stick in my balt is so loose that you can move it around in gear, so I decided what a better time to install a short throw shifter.
+my dad approves

Short throw is a great mod. If you really want to firm it up the cable clamps and shifter mount bushings would help out quite a bit as well

I ordered the OTTP short throw with bottom cable clamp and bushing, here's to hoping everything is solid!

I can't speak for any of the other shifters but I really liked my Ottp shifter. Never actually got around to installing the bushings and clamps pretty sure they are still somewhere in my dad's garage.. but the shifter alone was a nice improvement

Bought quite a bit of stuff from josh at Ottp over the years though, some things that were made to order took a while to get but everything I've got from him was very good quality

Did it come with installation instructions? I read that it didn't include instructions...

It doesn't come with instructions but it's pretty straight forward. If you run into any issues though just post on here or get a hold of him. I drove down to him to pick mine up and he talked me through how to do it but adjusting the cables might take you a few tries to get it set right

Yeah I already talked to Josh because I was ordering a new shift boot and needed to know the height difference, which he told me is ~1 inch. He seems like a good dude

Haha he usually has about 100 or so of them in stock, hope you got the derlin shift knob though, the solid stainless one sucks in a hot or cold car
