question about painting bowties, and i painted my trim!

so i painted my trim, got it into my car but in the process of putting it in the car, i scratched one of the pieces and am gonna have to redo it. but now that my trim is outta the way i wanna do the bowties.

is the process for painting the bowties the same as the trim?

ps, help on getting the door trim (where the windows and lock buttons are) off so i can paint those to would be great.

Same method as the trim for the bowties. The window switches. You have to remove the little plate where you grab to close the door. Look inside and you'll see it. Take it off and you'll see a screw or two. Don't remember. Then just lift the trim and unplug the wires from the harnesses
