Chevy Cobalt Steering Wheel???

Hello, I have a 2006 cobalt ss, i hate the steering wheel, but i love the new style of the steering wheel in the newer model cobalts. i was wondering, does anyone know if they are interchangeable. know how to remove the steering wheel but i dont wanna go through all the trouble if the newer one dont fit??

im sure itll fit on there. don't know how well it'll line up with the trim though

im doing a custome interior of red and black, so i have a newer steering wheel and its already been re-wrapped in red and black leather but i dont know if it will fit lol

disconnect the battery before you remove the airbag. there's screws on the back of the wheel. this should free the airbag. disconnect all the connectors and there's a bolt under the airbag that attaches the wheel to the column. careful not to unwind the clock spring. I've never removed it on the cobalt but I've done it on plenty of cars.
