Painting Pillars?

Has anybody painted A pillars or C pillars? Does Krylon Fusion work and how much sanding do they take?

I painted my A pillars since I had to use the Autometer guage pod on my sedan. I lightly sanded and then wiped with denatured alcohol. Then used regular automotive spray paint as I already had a dark gray that matched the interior better.

Cant remember the grit, it was a fine grit I had laying around. Right now I am prepping to move and I am trying to use up all my supplies and paints so I have less small stuff to pack and move. Willpost pics later though.

I used krylon fusion satin black on mine. they turned out a little too shiney though.. Maybe use that with some matte clear.
