inserts in armrest?

i noticed i have inserts in the top part of the armrest on the inside does anyone know what is supose to be there?

Probably like a change holder or somthing. I dont feel like goin downstairs to the garage at the moment but as an uneducated gues I would say change holder.

I know what twisted is talking about and I was wondering the same thing. I'll try to get a pic in a bit.

Open up the center fold-down armrest and in the top of it are two long channels with clips that look it was meant for something to be attached there.

mine which is aftermarket i ordered it off ebay cuz the ls editions do not come with an armrest so all you LS's out there know that you can get one for lik a hundred bucks. trust me its worth it

but mine i believe is for holding pens or thats what i use it for haha but pictures would be gr8 so i know were talking about the same thing here
