Painted engine cover

So I decided to paint the ecotec part of the engine cover and it didn't turn out so well... while doing that I decided to stencil on a YC on the other side... it also didn't come out very well lol. long story short, its nothing like what I planned and its all blue lol
btw, the last coat of clear was drying when I took the pic so its not going to be quite as shiny and when its done I'll get pics of it back in

looks good man...



mods... tinted taillights, 1000 watt alpine mono amp, 2 10 inch alpine type "r" subs, basspro slot ported box, xm radio, alpine 6x9 rear speekers, alpine 6.5 front speekers (both type "s",09SS front bumper and lip,black factory headlights, 12k foglights, 10k headlights, slp catback,fe5 suspension with sportlines,black carpet, painted plastics (black) huge custom pink monster sticker... and ofcourse.... BLACKED OUT!

You should do the engine valve cover that color.
Would look a lot better without the plastic!

Looks good to me. I am gona redo mine and cove the ecotec with painter tape and shoot the rest a blue that is close to my paint.

If you want to I recomend reshooting the areas that you want the writing to stand out in sliver than cover them up and shoot the blue again so it stands out more....

I used wheel paint cause its relaly durable and it doesnt chip cause its suppose to with hold rocks and whatnot. Mine has held up gret and I think the paint was like $7.00 at autozone.
