Projector Headlights

can anyone explain why all the projectors for our car have 2 headlight holes but there is one headlight that does both high and low beam.. is one just not used? i do not understand

One is the high beam and one is the low beam. There are 2 separate bulbs. In stockhead lights there is only one housing with a 2 way bulb

:wtf: I'm not understanding. Stock REFLECTORS have only 1 hole for a bulb to fit in. Where do you see two????

Huh??? I doubt that. He's wondering if one doesn't get used at all. When op should know it's a turn signal

ok thats what i want to know. on youre sig there is a spot which looks like the stock housing with the reflector and to the outside of that is the projector. when u get projectors do you like switch to a 9005 high and 9006 low? so its 2 lights insted of one? im confused on how it works

oh ok. when you buy projectors you are getting two sets of light housing. one is for highs the other for lows.i bought these projectors and replaced my stock ones with these

totally different from stock lights. i have the gen two. they use two seperate bulbs. one is h7 for low and h1 for high. i have hids on my lows. if i wanted my highs to be hids i would have to get another hid kit.got it
