Armrest for Automatics Only?

I'm thinking of getting an OEM armrest assembly for my '09 XFE coupe. The 'bay auctions say for automatic only. Anyone have the armrest on a standard shift car?
Thanks,
Rick

I think it is a generic armrest, does not make any sense to have two different armrests. Oh yea the Cobalts have different sheet metal for 2 and 4 door, so maybe there is a difference. But Chevy only has one part number for each color so they may be generic. Also contact the people on Ebay, many of those people are selling them without having them in stock(ran into that twice). My opinion is just buy one from the dealer.

Yes he does,i sold it to him, and my cars a stick,

he is a standard also. an armrest will work in your car don't worry about it.
You just need the armrest, adapter plate and the cupholder and six bolts that it should come with. takes like 10 min for install.

If you go to a dealer, they're gonna charge alot probably, try calling around to junkyards and whatnot

Hmm yea...I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work or fit due to the difference of transmission..It's an ARMREST!!! lol

Like stated in the posts above the armrest will work in a manual car. The seller is not "loco"...originally that is what GM said about the armrest (auto only) so the seller is probably covering himself/herself...
