Leather Shift Knob

I'm new to this forum. I was just in an accident and my 1995 Chevy Beretta was totaled. I'm looking at buying a Cobalt. I test drove a LS and LT model last week. I really enjoyed the manual 5 speed but hated the shifter. It was this really cheap plastic and looked like a toy. If you purchase the 2LT with the "sport appearance package" it comes with a leather wrapped steering wheel as well as a leather wrapped shift knob. Is this just for the automatic or is it for the manual as well? I would hate to add this package for over $900 if it's not available.

Also, does anyone have leather seats? How's the leather? Does it look nice and tight or does it look like loose pleather?

Thanks,

John

Just buy the stuff seperate. I would love to have the sunroof, but I dont want to pay $800 for a sunroof in addition to the $1900 trim package upgrade to get the sunroof. This is just another way for the car makers to make the consumer buy a more expensive vehicle that they normally would not buy.

I did not see where you can just get the leather shift knob. Does anyone know if there is a leather shift knob for the manual shifter? Can someone post or send me a picture?

I do not have a manual transmission but you should be able to find one online someplace possibly.

So what knob is that? Just on the '08's? The 2010's have cheap plastic.
