Trim Removal Question

hey everyone, im trying to remove the interior trim to wrap it in cf but i cant get the foglight wire undone and cant get the silver part of the shiftknob off. any help plz, im out working on it now so i need any u got thanks

My 'Balt, Camryn, is my baby. She's a black '09 LT 2.2L with the performance appearance package. I believe that if you take care of your car your car will take care of you.
Currently: Predator Pedals, GM logos gone, blacked out bowties, green interior neons, green LEDGlow, 2x 12" Kicker L7's subwoofer, kicker speakers, Pioneer avic f700bt, Konig Unkown's (17's), Tints

Silver part on shift knob doesnt come off.
Only in g5s.

Are you talking about the chrome?
Usually it twists and pulls down...

no i got the trim off but its still plugged in and the plug wont come undone

Pry the knob out first then unclip

There's a little clip, lift that up and pull, you gotta give it a good tug.

Mods: debaged, carbon fiber hood, painted interior trim, lowered

i dont see anything that looks like a clip, just a wierd little hookup wire

There are 3 tiny ass clips, that are a pain in the ass in the middle of the thing..you need a flathead or something similar to pry, if your still having issues i could probably go get a picture and show you

In the middle of the button you'll see tiny tabs. That's were you pull it apart.

Btw you got everything you need for the cf wrap? If any question just text me. You got my number right?
