Windows/locks

ok so sometime before spring i want to install power windows and power locks. ive kinda read up on this and as for the inside door pannel, it might be easier to just buy the ss inside door since it allready has the locks/window buttons cut out. or i can jus fabricate it myself. and as for the actual kits, would the ebay kits be alright for it? thanks for the help!

if i was you, and what im tryin to do, i would recommend callin around to dif auto junkyards and askin for prices for the interior door setup, and levy that against the cost and time of tryin to fabricate it yourself

I have aftermarket locks, and my driver side has stopped working twice, well it makes noice, but the lock doesnt move. And I cant figure out how to get around the window crank to take the door panel off to look at it.

Theres a tool to take the window crank off, I can't remember which member it was but I think it cost them like 5 bucks at autozone or something, takes the crank right off to get the panel off

yes but it's much sweeter to walk around and do it manually...get laid quicker :P jk i agree with you every time i walk around it's like 15 secs if you don't miss the keyhole and it adds up if you drive a lot!

errrmmm you can get remote starts put in manual cars, you just have to buy them for a manual car. They program differently.

I wouldn't bother with the ss doors. We tried that. The boot in the door that connects to the frame has two different connectors and a boat load of wiring that you would then have to retrace and fix. Your best bet is to go aftermarket OR as someone else said, get the motor then hook it up to the keyless entry and you just wont have the buttons on the inside.

As for the power windows. They should all hook in ok. We have mine setup right now that the driver can't control the passengers side or it'll pop a breaker fuse (that we put in) and we just haven't gotten around to fixing it. It's not an issue for me though so I'm not in a rush.
