Doing Something to My Tail Lights

so i saw on car domain a while back someone did something to their ipcw led tails and i liked it but i never got to do it

so im going to paint them tomorrow night and have them done by wed

im going to spray the sides black because i don't like the black that they are now and this way looks better

those aren't my tails thats the guys that did them

yea i would think about nightshading everything. but tape the reverse lights. i've seen that before and it looks so hott. just a suggestion.

that's how I did my OEM tails... i used paint, not nightshades tho...

Nightshade them.... with the led coming through a darker tail light...... mmmmm that would look great. Sorry about the excitement lol

shouldn't be too hard. im gonna do it to mine. ill let you know how it goes. just tape the reverse light all around it. not too bad. i hope lol

^^ I did it... its not hard at all... in fact, i taped it off the first time, then painted solid around the lights so my rev lights were black too, then i thought i liked it btr w/ the rev light still visible, (there were months inbetween these changes btw, lol) so INSTEAD of wet sanding down the whole thing or using paint thinner or w/e to start over, i just wet sanded the rev light off, so NOW you cant see a hint of red like i could before (never could get it ALL taped off right)... so u could do it that way too if u happen to not have any tape... imo its just as easy...

i don't trust my self enough to do the whole tails.
plus with my experience with my side markers i made them pretty dark

im just going to do what i posted
i wanna do the whole thing but don't trust myself
