New Body Kit

I just purchased the N1 front bumper from ssscgirl last night. Thanks Jill. I will be getting the remainder of the kit in a trade this weekend. My gf and I plan on staying in Fort Wayne Saturday night after seeing Hinder at Pieres. Sunday morning will be going to Plainsfield (near Indianapolis) and making the trade. I will be trading my front end (bumper, grille, fog housings) for the N1 sides and rear as well as the Drifter front bumper. If anyone is interested in the Drifter bumper I will be selling it once I get it. I will be sure to post pics of all the parts soon but the finished product wont show until at least late spring. I mounted the bumper up for test fitting purposes this afternoon. The driverside is almost perfect but the passenger side is off a little bit.

Not feeling it at all buddy. Shouldve just stood with ss/sc body kit. I don't like any body kit personally but hey. It's your car

X3. Its the only kit that I really like just for that purpose. I can't beat the price either. My SS front end was free from the insurance company after i hit a raccoon. I asked for the upgrade and they went with it for no extra charge. All said and done I'm getting the complete kit for roughly $300 ($100 for front, $100 for hotel, $100 for gas). I am going to have to be very careful while driving now. The front bumper is mere inches off the ground. I was able to fit 4 fingers under it. The SS side skirts sit about a hand and a half off the ground in comparison.

I had gotten the complete SS/SC front end for free from an insurance claim. I traded these free parts for a compete body kit but the front bumper does not match. The cost of travel to get the parts was $200. The cost to buy a front bumper that matched was $100. Add those costs together and you get $300 for a complete N1 style body kit + an extra front bumper. The kit would have normally cost $750 + Shipping

MAJOR CORRECTION

It looks like their may have been some confusion with the parts. I was going under the assumption that the front bumper I bought was the itrenz N1 bumper. Actually its the ViS N1. It is equivalent to the itrenz BSC2 which is also identical to the Zen body kit. The body parts I got for the SS/SC bumper were itrenz N1 rear and sides. The front was the drifter 2 by ED which I thought did not match. However that bumper is identical to the N1 of itrenz. Thus when all is said and done I technically got a complete itrenz N1 body for the SS/SC front and will be swapping of that front end for the BSC2/Zen front bumper. I think I will also be modifying the rear bumper to remove the little raised detail on the lower lip portion.
