Remove Nightshade??

ok so i wanna strip my taillights of nightshade and start fresh... any idea how i can remove this stuff without dulling the lens at all??? btw there some shots of clear on them as well



mods... tinted taillights, 1000 watt alpine mono amp, 2 10 inch alpine type "r" subs, basspro slot ported box, xm radio, alpine 6x9 rear speekers, alpine 6.5 front speekers (both type "s",09SS front bumper and lip,black factory headlights, 12k foglights, 10k headlights, slp catback,fe5 suspension with sportlines,black carpet, painted plastics (black) huge custom pink monster sticker... and ofcourse.... BLACKED OUT!

paint thinner/goof off/goo gone. all the same stuff, just have a roll of paper towels ready and pour it on...wipe for a while till nothing more comes off, and repeat. WELL ventilated area, no need for you to kill too many brain cells over some tail lights

haha.. and this is'nt gunna dull the lens or crack it or nothing right... and i will be able to repaint it without it turning white lol....?

lol, no it wont dull or crack it. the most that will happen is it will turn hazy if you let the thinner dry because it happened to me but it was a hot day out. all i did was wash it off, then let it dry inside, then sanded down and painted. you might want to hit it with a good coat of clear after you take off the niteshade since it might be scuffed from when you first sanded it

Wetsand them with 800-1000grit paper. Once its all removed they will look like shit but if your re-tinting them it will go back to stock look then darker the more you tint them. did this a few times with my sedan tails haha

sand the clear coat off, and then remove the VHT with something like paint thinner.

I will have to re tint my tails too cuz i want them to be shiny. My first try was good but they turn out not shiny at all - any ideas of how to mke them shiny, First time I sprayed the whole can of Clear coat so it must be someting else ???
