yeh, on my civic it sucked. When i first installed them, the front one was great! hid it nicely. But the side ones hung down and the back one too, so it looked sooo shitty from like 4 or more feet away. Then i bought 3'' wide 8-foot long strips of aluminum and screwed them to the underside of the car, and that hid them, but they didn't look the best you know? so if I put them on my balt imma be doing it after i get a body or skirt kit forsure. Are you gonna mount them directly on the back of your side skirts?

well to me the best way is to mount them unnoticeably and firmly on the side skirts or on the car behind the side skitrs 9whatever works best) then run the wire from the back of the neon, about 2 feet back to the wheel well but run it up inside the wheel well panel to the back, out of site, or if you can get it up inside the rear quarter panel. I'll have to look this week where the best place to run the wires for the side tubes is, because what I did on my old civic is I actually ran it up the inside of the rear quarter panel, over the rear wheel well, up through the tailight into the trunk...I did some creative thinking lol. I'll get back to you on the easiest and cleanest way to run the wires, I feel that I'm pretty talented at running wires now, with so much practice from installing sound systems and neons lol. Front and back tubes should be easy as pie though.

np ill see what I can do since i've put my kit on twice on my old civic. I actually bottomed out my car leaving my dads house upnorth on a huge pile of ice last winer, and totally cracked the right side tube (huge hit) and the tube still works perfectly! so the LEDglow brand is good, and you won't be disappointed with the color and amount of light output. It's a great kit for a great price.
So I was thinkin bout how you could mount the side tubes onto the side skirts. Some type of hooks or rings that could go around the tube and have a flat surface on one side for double sided tape may work well. If you mount the tubes directly on the skirts i don't think you'll want to be drilling into the skirts lool!

What I ended up doing is for the front tube, I mounted it right in front of the bottom radiator with some stainless steel plumbing rings (the type that you screw to tighten with a flathead or hex). I also did this to the side, however I pierced a hole in the strap of the ring and screwed it to the car's underside (there's that cutter/bar that comes down from the car about an inch or two)with self-tapping metal screws, then I just slid the tubes into the already-mounted rings, tightened them and they were good. There's afew ways of going about mounting them though. It's good you have side skirts to hide the tubes well.

yeh that's always the fun part :P I would say send it behind, up the inner diameter of the wheel well then up inside the back bumper (should be able to do this without taking bumper off) and the bumper has clips that run to where the trunk lid closes. Just run them up the side of the bumper until the trunk lid opening (near the clips or on the side of the trunk lid border) and then into the trunk is your best bet. Continue under the black cover that is on top of the trunk lid latch (has a hole for the trunk lid to latch to the bottom) it can be taken off by pulling upwards-there's only 4 clips it's easy.
