Defective Clips!

So I take apart my interior trim and I have two clips that stayed in the socket.. I got them out put it back on my trim but does that mean I have to to do that every time?

just depends.....how many times do you plan on taking out that certain trim panel ya know...it happens and NO they aint defective

I think half my clips did that. Crap happens basically. It's not defective, since they're really just snap on clips and not a permenant thing.


has basically dropped off the face of the planet... moved and still havent had internet installed at the new place

oh damn, ive taken mine off at least 15 times, only lost one though.

last i knew my local noble ace hardware/true value had them, or similar clips

Yep cheap clips designed to be replaced every time they are removed. How else do you think GM will stay in business.

lol exactly. For as loose as mine are, I'm really wondering how often the previous owner was pulling the trim off...
