Possible Fading?

Hey im wondering if anyone knows if when I remove my sidetrim on the car if it would look like the other paint faded a bit? I have a 2006 cobalt....I live in northern Britich columbia BC where pretty much more then half the year is cold and snowy.

You might see a slight paint fade, because of the age. But with proper polishing and waxing im sure it would ok.

I have a 2006, a guy at a local shop did mine for free when he was doing some body work(dent removal), and said he just had to buff it a bit. Looks completely normal now though.

I did it on my 07, only thing you can really see now is an outline from the rear bowtie... that's only because i'm to lazy to really wax it. and I get sun 2/3 of the year i'm sure.
