Body Kits and Spolier

has anyone installed the Zen style body kit? if so is it a quality body kit? is it hard to install?

is the Super Sport spolier worth buying? is it hard to install on a nonSuper Sport?

check some member pics. I know there's a few ppl here with it on...um...i can't remember who had it...I think Cobaltinator had it on, check his pics...or go to Google and search ZEN body-kit for cobalt and look at it. Any body-kit requires prep and work to get it to match flush and look real nice, so budget some money in there for the paint and install too.
Also, make sure it's a legit zen body kit, that they use decent material like polyurethane and not a crappy re-mold kit made of fiberglass that is too brittle and doesn't match up.

I am in the process of having the Zen front bumper put on my car. Not 100% sure if its actually the zen or possibly a different manufactures version of the same bumper. I got mine off a member of the forums who got it from someone else so who knows. The majority of the bumper is gel coat and very little fiberglass. This makes for a very weak bumper and a high possibility of stress fractures. The shop is going to put some more layers of glass on the inside to strengthen it up. There have been fitment issues with almost every part of the bumper. Theses areas include where the grille mounts, headlight sockets, and fog light area. Also it is not flush with the fenders and the body lines needed to be perfected. Overall its not as bad as my N1 rear bumper which needed to be cut in half and a half inch of glass added to the middle. The work that is needed to make them fit correctly is pretty easy for most professional body shops. I would not recommend trying to install one yourself

Stay away from Andy's Auto Sport inhouse kits, they are VERY cheap copies of other people kits.
