just put it back in the oven and get the sealant hot so you can take it off and put new on.

I just tried and wiped as much of it off as possible and I used a hot glue gun to seal it..works perfectly

I used Napa all purpose sealant and have had no leaks, stay away from windshield sealer it blows.

windshield sealer does not blow. i used flowable windshield sealant from autozone (after getting leaks with all purpose sealant) and haven't had a problem in months. easiest application and best results, imo.

I used windshield sealant on my old set 2 tubes per headlight and about a year and a half later the seal broke. The sealant I used now actually hardens and dosnt stay soft.
