Great Adhesive Remover

Use DOT 3 brake fluid. Let it set for a little bit, then wipe the adhesive away (you may have to use a little elbow grease, but it won't kill you) Be sure to go back over it with windex, to keep it from fading paint!

windex? how about just washing the area with real car wash after, probably wouldnt hurt to use some car wax on the area after washing.

I really do not recommend that.

You could use lacquer thinner tho.

We use it everyday at work for removing tar and grime from cars.

best adhesive remover you can use is GOOF OFF...it wont harm the paint or clearcoat and it will remove just about anything....i use it daily and i used it to remove the adhesive residue from when i peeled the black vinyl off my doors like Mike(XFE) has done....

you can also use xylene
