Hid's and the Automatic Headlights. + More.

I have a 2005 Chevy cobalt with automatic headlights, the headlights also turn on when I unlock the doors, and I do have daytime running lights because it's a Canadian car. So do I have to shut off the automatic headlights with Hid's? My day time running lights, are they a small bulb near the signal light?

Thanks

And who on this forum is running 3000K hid's in their fog lights like this car?

all you have to do is pull the fuse under the hood.

Actually my 2005 just uses the parking/signal lights for daytime running lights.

the first gen cobalts use the turn signals as a DRL. 2008-2010 using a DRL in the regular light housing. I dont see a need for a fuse to be pulled since you have a 2005. As for the auto-lights, HID's still use those.
