Resistor with Led Tails

So my led tails from ebay are coming today. I wanna hook them up with the resistors i have but my question is that im going to install them and leave them in till sunday bc im getting them tinted. I was wondering if i leave the resistor hooked up and hook up the stock outer tail light if i will have any problems. Therefore when i get my lights back i can just plug Them back in and not have to rewire the resistors

Are you using a resistor to eliminate the rapid firing of the blinkers due to the LED's? Most of hte new LED assemblies have that buiilt in already and you dont need a resistor, they are just plug and play. I got some back in January and they work fine, normal flashing sequence, but I do have a sedan, dont know how the coupe LED tails are wired.

I'm not sure what LED tails you got.
But i got these and they have the resistors built in.
So they are plug and play.

Yea you get the rapid fire or "machine gun" blinking because the flasher thinks one bulb is burnt out and that is a warning to the driver that pays attention that they need to check the bulbs.
