Bad Luck with Aftermarket Antennas.

Every single option i try for putting in a aftermarket antenna fails. The bases don't fit right, or it sticks out to the side. Anyone on here have an idea on covering up the hole left by the stock base?, or an antenna that you've had luck with?

I have a female end soldered to the stock line, so i can add any type of antenna you throw at me
