How Do You Take the Steering Wheel Center Cap Off?

is it possible to take the center steering wheel cap off or do i have to take the whole airbag module off?

Well you can take it off. I don't recommend it tho.

To remove: use a butter knife and a small flat head screw driver. there are little metal clips that are bent inwards holding it in place.

You will more than likely NEVER get it back in tho. Just sayin.

What are you trying to do with it?

I was thinking about removing mine also and replacing them with SS center caps.

I f'd mine up trying. so I recommend not doing it as well; however, I am in the market for another stock one so if you do remove PLEASE sell me yours! lol I'm looking to spend maybe ~35 shipped just for that little emblem as they're not easy to come by.

i used a set of hook tools
put it in one end and pull. than work your way around i didnt disconect my battery or anything.

i want to paint it to match my interior theme im working on...i guess i can mask everything off and airbrush it but i didnt really want to have to go through all that...

Just take the airbag off and tape it... that's probably the best way to get a clean finish.
