Paint Center Cap on Steering Wheel?

Is there any way I can get the chevy emblem black so that it can match the emblems on the outside?

I wouldn't take it off. I would take the airbag off and tape it up and paint it. Would I paint it the same way I did the emblems on the outside?

I looked but I just want to paint it. Might have to wait a bit cause it is a different texture and I don't want to mess it up.
