Thank You Eyesore for the Inspiration

I saw Eyescore's DIY on cup holder led's and it had me thinking why not put them somewhere else like some lexus's have,in the outside door handles. take a look and tell me what you think.

I'm looking in to how to do that but right now its wired to the interior lights so when the lights on the cluster prnd1l and door swithes it goes on. it also dims when you dim the interior lights

That's pretty cool. Better when you get it to work with the unlock button.

nice job, glad I inspired someone lol...I was telling my gf last night what I want to do next..LEDs on the inside of the doorpads hooked up to my domelight but have the domelight bulb out so only the LEDs will light up when the door is opened...she thinks I think too much about my car...I've been modding cars for over 6 years now with 70% of it being custom work, but only just started on my Cobalt, even tho I've had it for 2 years now...I couldn't stay retired forever lol

that would be sick if you have L.E.D's around your car that blinked when you unlocked the car!

thats what im trying to do but i cant find the power source that is used when the doors unlock. i tried the headlights and the dome light but no success maybe when its not so cold out i will go and just start looking for that power source but for now i like it hooked up to the interior lights so it dims when i want it to
