Is It Hard to De-wing Your Cobalt?

I have an 05 cobalt LS and im just curious is it hard to take your wing off yourself, and if I can just plug to holes with licence plate plugs? or what is the easiest way to do it.

Easiest way is to get a donor trunk from a car of the same color from junkyard. Car are mostly damaged in front so plenty of trunks going cheap. A little cleaning and waxing and they usually match pretty good.
