from experience, you'll regret them after a few months. They never look as good as a picture, and the carbon fiber ones fade to yellow after a summer of sunlight (despite what they claim on their sites).

I had the carbon fiber kit for 2 years, and after 6 months had stripped everything off except for a few pieces like the vents and glove box handle. HUGE waste of money! Just pain the trim and you'll be way happier, and still have money left over.

when i first got my cobalt i was like yeahhhh dash kit!! IMO thank god i never got one.

like acoutu said you'll be better off painting it yourself for the satisfaction and IMO paint just looks cleaner. if you really want CF buy a couple sheets and wrap them yourself.

its a good DIY and it doesnt burn a hole in your wallet like a kit will, but thats just advice remember mostly TO EACH HIS OWN

Except when it comes to those CF dash kits, cuz no one wins when those are in the car.

x2 for CF wrap if you want the carbon fiber look.

Please do not buy a dash kit. Save yourself. I had one and it looked awful. First off they are made for an SS with all of the cut outs for things that the SS should have, then they don't fit all of the dash pieces correctly. Painting it looks way better now, dash kits are a huge disappointment and plus if you ever wan to remove it, it is a piece of work to get off.

And wtf! They are gonna charge a couple hundred for a dash overlay??? When I first saw the price I thought they were actual trim pieces...then I saw where it said overlay and I was like [email protected] FOR REALS?? Buy yourself a sheet of 3M diNoc Carbon fiber vinyl and do it yourself. It's super easy but make sure you buy a little extra in case you mess up on something. And if you don't mess up anything you have enough left over usually to wrap other things too Check this link: Carbon Fiber Film | Dedicated To Selling 3M Carbon Fiber DI-NOC Vinyl

I bought the 4 ft by 4 ft sheet, had enough to do all the dash trim, the steering wheel trim pieces, the arm rest, a skateboard, a custom camera mount, a license plate frame my key fob and a laptop. Thats the best bang for your buck IMO
