Hood and Trunk Carbon Fiber Wrap. Any Tips?

Well, I want to wrap my hood (which seems easier) and my trunk (which seems hellacomplicated)...I have a coupe so I have a lot of cuts to do (like 3rd brake light and both little lights).

I wanna do it by myself. I tinted my windows one year ago and the result was good. A year after, no air bubble appeared, so I believe I did a good job and wrapping seems easier than tinting windows.

Do you have any advices about anything?

Where should I buy it? What size should I use?

Anything would be appreciated (experiences, tips, etc.)

Thanks :P

There is a member on here that has carbon fiber racing stripes. I think he told me its just 3m backed dinoc carbon fiber. You can get it all over the Internet

My trunk is wrapped in 3M Di-Noc. Definitely need 2 people for the trunk because of the angles. Not like putting tint on, much harder, it was a bitch

Personally, if this was something I would want I just buck up and buy an actual CF hood and trunk. I've seen the hoods for roughly $300, easier to install and there would actually be a benefit to it!

Not going to find a trunk for that much, if you can find one at all. My hood weighed 7 lbs more than my cf hood, so not much of a difference at all. So that's why I went with cf dinoc on my trunk

interesting, I thought the point to CF was that it is lighter yet just as durable? Why else other than looks would you spend that much money for one?
