LED Halo Design

I just posted this in my vehicle showoff thread but thought I'd share here also

The purple LED "halo" is always on with the ambient light sensor (so only on when dark) and pulses opposite the turn bulb.

That looks nice, i'm guessing you worked on the headlight housing to install those LEDs?

Yep! I was painting the housing black anyways and figured I'd try something different.
If you look closely at the first picture you can see theyre anchored into the first little lip of the signal dome.

Has anyone changed out the stock lights in their stock deck?
Thats my next project and I'm hoping for some ideas and pics.

I'm attempting something similar with my stock brake and reverse lights tomorrow if I can get them open.
