B-Pillar Blackout

So I got tired of the silver B-Pillar on my '06 LT Sedan the minute I bought it and finally got around to buying vinyl to black them out. I went with matte black because I wanted to avoid overdoing it with carbon fiber (afterall, it's not an SS). Aside from a few window decals, this is my first attempt at personalizing this car. I feel like it really classes up the joint and makes the greenhouse appear to be considerably longer.

I'm hoping next week to be able to apply a piano black finish on my dash trim. Follow-up to come.

Let this be a lesson that cheap vinyl isn't worth it. Definitely buy 3M or some other reputable brand. This brand (can't remember the name) wasn't very pliable and bubbles were difficult to work out. It shouldn't require heat to get it to lay flat on the pillar, so it seems like a big deal to me.

The bubbles worked themselves out in the heat/sunlight. They look pretty smooth now!
