Anyone Ever Heard of Vht Vinyl Dye?

VHT SP942 Vinyl Dye Black Satin Can 11 oz. INTERIOR CAR PAINT | eBay

I've seen this stuff online and at autozone and was wondering if anybody has ever used this on there seats or door panel fabric? If so how did it come out? and does it last or fade away?

Thanks.

I used about five coats on each seat to get the right darkness and it still faded but that was rustoleum
