Exclamation 2007 Cobalt Ls Seat Swap

I bought seats for a 2007 hhr because I got a good deal on them and I wanted leather. I saw that they were compatible with my cobalt so they installed easy but I never thought about the airbag clips. The clips on the seats don't fit the clips on the floor. Now I get a service airbag message. Anybody know if they can be hard wired?

did you get leather cobalt seats? or a differnt brand? if you got cobalt seats, you can swap the airbag units easily to the new seat.

Well they were out of a Hhr. They have the same mounting brackets but different airbag connectors.

Like scania said, swap under seat platform and you'll be g2g. Plus swap is easy.

I appreciate it! I'll let you know if i get it. I'm pretty stupid so it could be a disaster.

nahh its easy. Once you get in there, you will see its easy. Let me know if you need tips, you will most likely have to remove the pressure assembly for the passenger seat and install in the new one.
