Shift Boot Plastic****

ok so on manual cobalts the shift boots attached to a piece of plastic with little notches so that it holds it down does anybody have one of these or just the stock shift boot??

Good luck, I've been searching for the piece of plastic since last year. The dealership wants about $80 for the whole boot.

Yeah, I've resorted to finding the totaled ones on ebay that people are parting out and private messaging them to see if they would sell it. No luck yet.

it can be repaired with 4g wire and super glue....if youre is just not staying in place. Mine snapped when I swapped my boot and STS and a 1.5" piece of 4g wire where the clip was glued in place (lots of glue) has held it for over a year perfectly.

$5 fix
