You might be disappointed with how the DDM bulbs perform on the Cobalts. When I had an DDM HID kit, the beam pattern was way out of focus, blinding people. On high beam, only the sides lit up. NOTHING down the middle. So there was no distance. I was able to see much farther with my crappy halogens than I could with my HID kit. You might want to consider a retrofit instead. The Mini H1 Bi-Xenon projectors through The Retrofit Source are great for starters. I've had mine for almost a year and a half and just did some tweaks recently and they pack a punch for a small projector.
