Sharpie mod?

I was looking around on the "post your interior" thread and there were a few comments about a sharpie mod for your dash control LEDs,as the stock led color is a faded yellow color.I am just wondering what exactly the sharpie mod is?and if it works?

It's sharpie works where some guy has the parts painted then draws designs with a sharpie over the trim panels followed by a clearcoat. It looks awesome but it's.not cheap unless you can or a friend can do it themselves.

There is sharpie works for the trim; but I think the op is talking about the HVAC sharpie mod. It's where you take the HVAC panel off and color the inside of it where the light shines throug with a sharpie and it gives you a different color. I haven't seen many people do it, but I've been told it works. It would be better to just get LED's in there though.

Just get leds much better result, makes sure they are 12v leds otherwise you will need resistors. It's fairly easy as long as you have soldering knowledge
