Hydrographically Printed Trim Bezels

I have wanted to get this done for a while. There were a handful of shops in my area who offer the service. so, a few weeks ago, I pulled the trigger. I have always loved the class of wood trim. I settled on one of their prints called "Black Burl Wood" Today, I went and picked up my stuff and got it all installed. I'm very happy with the look and the work they did was top notch! If you are interested in having them do some pieces for you, you can ship them your parts. They'll take care of you. Go here : Welcome to 3D Liquid Graphics! | 3D Liquid Graphics, LLC [Pierceton, IN] and check them out!

Heres a few crappy photos. The photos dont do justice to how amazing these pieces look.

I'll find out. Although, it has several layers of automotive clear coat on it. I'm sure it will be quite durable.

Not as old as me and I like it. A bit classier than sticker bombing

That's actually not bad. Didn't the LTZ have something similar?

Hydrographically Printed Trim Bezels

Well most people are doing carbon fiber. I don't really care for that. I'm too old to pull off graffiti style/sticker bombing(it'd be like a 40 year old trying to wear abercrombie) and I was tired of the stock painted look. I've always loved wood, leather and brushed metals in car interiors.

Yep. The LTZ had a brown burl but they didn't make those kits for coupes. Also, the brown burl wouldn't have looked right in a black/gray interior. I believe the wood trim optioned kits were only installed in cars with the neutral interiors.

This company, who did my parts, has several patterns to choose from. Metals, wood, carbon fiber, camo, stone, etc. I'm going to take my interior door handles, shift knob button and various other "chrome" trim pieces and have them coated in a brushed metal finish of some kind. Also, I forgot my "oh shit" handle. I wanted the middle part of the handle in wood trim. I'm planning on recovering my headliner. Probably in black perforated vinyl or some suede. I'll have to paint my hanger hooks, dome lamp housing and sunvisor plastics. Today, I've pulled apart my door panels again. I originally did them in black vinyl but I'm changing them over to perforated vinyl. I stripped all the old foam off and put new, thicker foam on. I've got one done so far. It turned out pretty good.

Not usually a fan of wood grain, but that looks really slick.

works well with the tan interior, I hate when people spray there trim bright colors on tan interiors, it doesn't flow and looks rediculous, you did it right, wood grain on an economy car may seem silly but at least it works..
