Exclamation Need Help on How to Install Rear Lip on 4Dr

I am looking to install a rear lip on my 4dr Cobalt LS like what SS have on their rear bumper. I need the step by step on how its done. I know you need to cut the lip to fix the bumper on a 4dr and cut some of the bumper too and make slots. I just need to know where to cut and what to use to put it all together. Or if you know where I can get one the is put together and I can just buy it .
Please input some picture too

Picture below shows want I am talking about

If you need to ask all of those questions you should be having a body shop do it.

That's not necessarily true. The OP may not know much about body work, but that doesn't mean they can't learn to do it well when given some instruction. I knew nothing about cars before my last vehicle, a blazer, but I'm smart and good with tools. I learned A LOT from that thing and now do almost all of my own work.

BUT I will say that if you aren't confident in your ability to do it right, then it may be best to take it to a body shop.

Its not a simple task and involves modifying the lip as well as cutting into the bumper. So after the lip is modified you'll need to get it painted yet

To be honest with you, it is alot of work to do. You need the right tools and such i did mine cause I have the tools for it and didn't want to take it to the body shop and be time consuming cause it's my dd for work.
