Custom interior

I'm wanting to customize my interior but I don't want to spend much. I'm thinking of painting the vents, dash trim, and door panels. My car is silver so I want to incorporate its color to the interior. I'd also like to customize the exterior but not break the bank. Thanks for any ideas. This is Cobalt LS by the way.

Color Match spray cans from any auto parts store. They're like $8 a can.

I pulled all the trim off and wrapped each piece individually. It all just pops off

I don't know much about plasti dip so bear with me....

Can I just spray that on like spray paint?
What is prepping like with that stuff? (Do I have to tape everything in the vicinity off to stop overspray etc?)
Does it last long with the heat temps inside a car?

Thanks....

Yep - it sprays on just like regular spray paint - and it goes on quite nicely too (I mean, unless you intentionally try for runs).

As with all spray paint, you'll want to tape off a lot of stuff around, to prevent from overspray. If it can come off the car, take it off the car.

Yes, it can easily handle the heat inside the car (it's rated up to 200*F) - I've had my steelies Plasti-dipped since 2010. They've gone through rain, snow, salt, freeze, thaw, direct sunlight, you name it. Perfectly fine.

If you want to upgrade the interior of your Cobalt a little, I would recommend you to take a look at our wide selection of custom dash kits as well. They are easy to install and available in lots of different colors and finishes.

How about the one in real carbon fiber? It will perfectly underline the silver accents.
