RkSport Hood Bolts

I have a rk sport ram air hood.I need to know what size bolts it uses to mount to the factory hinges.
stock bolts dont work. I contacted rksport and they said 8mmX1.25 35mm length.
I bought those and they fit like the stock bolts do bolt is too small.....

so anyone who has the hood please let me know

nah i dont believe so. even if they were stripped the bolt would fit properly and atleast be able to thread one thread if it was right size.

holes deff have to be a different size because this bolt goes in and hole is bigger than the actual bolt.

guy who sold it to me showed me pics of the hood on the car. and than he took it off and shipped to me.

Can<t see the manufacturer making a replacement hood needing different bolts though, just saying. Inspect the holes carefully to see if any treads are left.

Got a picture of the hood? And it's possible that they were stripped out and then tapped for a larger bolt

I'm guessing the holes were just tapped out to a bigger size after being stripped.. try using a 10mm bolt instead of an 8mm if it looks like the threads are there and not damaged
